60's London Mod - Mary Quant

Currently Im in school as ya'll know, and the class that I seem pretty interested in is Fashion History. At the end of the quarter I have a project to turn in of an fashion designer within history or a decade. I was curious what London Mod was and I've heard of Mary Quant but never really saw who or what any of it was. And this is what I got:

The legendary Sixties designer, oft credited with inventing the mini, is enjoying a renaissance as of late given the prevalence of Mod looks in store for spring. It doesn't stop there, however; fall runway looks are also heavily referencing Quant's swinging styles.

And all the fuss simply bemuses Quant, who has ridden several such revivals in the past 40 years.

"It's very peculiar," said Quant, looking spry and youthful despite her 69 years. "It's very nice, it feels great. With the revolution of the Sixties, Mod went through an evolution. With the pill women started ...

I still have no idea what to do my project on but this whole Mary Quant seems pretty interesting...(or I can just stick with my girl Betsey Johnson! haha)
